Calling all World Cup fans – This is it!

It’s been a brilliant World Cup and the Final is upon us. Come join Tony Sanneh — 2002 World Cup and former LA Galaxy star — members of Sam’s Army, and soccer fans from around the world at Smalley’s 87 Club for a special World Cup Final party.

  • Lunch and drink specials throughout the match.
  • Giant-sized projection screen and over a dozen big-screen plasmas TVs.
  • Outdoor viewing and service in “Soccer Alley”.
  • Proceeds will help support the The Haitian Initiative — a joint program of the The Sanneh Foundation and Los Angeles Galaxy Foundation developed after the March 2010 humanitarian visit by the LA Galaxy and Galaxy Foundation to Haiti following the devastating earthquake. Tony has flown in a soccer team from Haiti to participate in the USA Cup this week and next in Blaine. With a little luck, members from Team Haiti will be in attendance at Smalley’s. Please come down, meet them and Tony, and talk soccer throughout the party.

At half-time and after the match, Tony and The Sanneh Foundation will raffle off a variety of US and MLS soccer memorabilia, which Tony has personally collected over the years, including US jerseys and official 2010 World Cup balls autographed by current US stars, US and MLS warm-up gear, USA T-shirts, and over a dozen other items. Raffle tickets are only $5 (5 for $20) and there is no limit on the number of items a person can win.

    WHEN:
Sunday, July 11 at 1:00 pm. The Final match starts at 1:30 p.m.

    WHERE:
Smalley’s 87 Club in downtown Minneapolis. Admission is FREE and there is plenty of parking available in a massive lot across the street and metered-parking all around the block.

    WHY:
As featured on KFAN, KARE 11, WCCO, and KSTP, Tony and hundreds of soccer fanatics have turned Smalley’s into TEAM USA Headquarters and a fantastic alternative venue for soccer fans, families, clubs and crews to watch the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Your cheers and chants will also help support The Haitian Initiative, through the The Sanneh Foundation, a Minnesota-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit.
